In this virtual session, Sarah McVanel will share how she built a six-figure OD business in eighteen months. She will explain the diversified revenue stream model she uses and how it enables scale, flexibility and a family-first focus. This session will include strategies and tools you can use to start or grow your business that will shirk off doubt and worries. You can even use these tools as an established OD practitioner to reinvigorate your business if you’ve maxed out on your time or energy. We will explore making decisions for your business based on your passions and core values. This session will also include tips and tools for OD experts who are ready to venture into speaking or simply want to offer more value to their clients by way of some emerging trends, such as virtual offerings.
Sarah McVanel helps leaders leverage the exponential power of recognition to retain top talent and sustain healthy bottom lines. She speaks nationally on the topic, leads workshops, coaches leaders and conducts organizational recognition program reviews.
Sarah is a Certified Senior Organizational Development Professional, Professional Certified Coach, Certified Human Resources Leader and President-Elect of the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. She has a BA in Psychology, MSc in Family Relations, and Diplomas in Human Resources and Healthcare Administration.
Sarah has over 17 years’ experience including at a senior leadership level and now owns the boutique firm Greatness Magnified.
