Description: Guest Speaker: Greg Witz, President and CEO of Witz Education

In the rapidly changing business landscape, we expect our teams and clients to excel in their roles. However, we often overlook the most fundamental aspect - the human connection. Building relationships and supporting transitions through emotional intelligence with team members is a crucial component in attracting and retaining top talent, particularly for Millennials who expect it. Unfortunately, while we deploy new processes and offer training on the tasks at hand, we are rarely taught how to effectively connect with others. This is particularly important for external consultants, who need to achieve their objectives while acquiring buy-in from the decision maker and the organization as a whole. Beyond simply addressing performance metrics, we must be conscious of managing, both the task and the person behind the task. Productivity relies on strong human relationships – relationships built on a foundation of connection.

What you’ll learn:

• Guiding principles of effective interactions

• Communicating information and ideas clearly and succinctly

• Creating sustained behavioural change through emotional intelligence

• How to adjust your communication style to achieve desired outcomes

Optional: Personality Inventory Assessment

The Personality Inventory Assessment (P.I.A.) is a 12-question version of our full, validated Multi-Rater Personality Inventory (M.R.P.I.). The evaluation is intended to measure and define gaps pertinent to achieving connection along with goals and objectives. Information on logic, interpersonal skills, communication style and E.Q. are all derived from part of this profile.

Along with a 1-page report, which will be given out on October 14, we welcome participants to contact us either at the event or post-event for a more in-depth look at their results.

This is a free optional piece that increases engagement as it personalizes the content of the presentation. In order for the report to be completed for the presentation on October 14, participants must complete the assessment by 5pm on October 13. They are invited to complete it post-event as well. The assessment is online and available here:

When asked for company name on the assessment, please enter "TODN".
