"Drumming" and Networking - Our Annual Winter Social

Join us for our Winter Social as we experience the joy, energy and community of drumming, followed by delicious food and conversation to celebrate and complete our fall programming of "Building Resilient Workplaces". More details will follow and we will then prepare for and move into our Winter/Sprint sessions related to "Kick Ass Facilitation".

Drumming Up Resilience!

In this interactive workshop you will experience how Group Drumming can boost morale, increase self-awareness and personal empowerment, build trust, ignite creativity, reduce stress, create a sense of belonging and improve team cohesion; all key components of building resilience in the workplace.   Using a variety of African hand drums and World percussion instruments, you will engage in fun rhythm based warm-ups, collaborative rhythm exercises, an introduction to basic hand drumming technique, and facilitated music-making. Experience the benefits of drumming for your own self-care and learn how you can apply it with teams that you work with.  No previous drumming or musical experience is necessary, just a willingness to try something new.
