About Toronto Organization Development Network

The Toronto Organization Development Network (TODN) is an association of highly skilled and talented professionals dedicated to helping organizations succeed. TODN provides an opportunity to connect with other industry professionals to share expertise and obtain leading edge insights and practices in OD, in an environment committed to learning and supporting the work we do.

Our History

The TODN was created in 1990 as an association of organization development practitioners representing a range of professional roles in a wide variety of organizations. TODN members work in private industry, non-profit organizations, government agencies, education and independent consulting firms. 

We are affiliated with the Organizational Development Network (ODN), a U.S. based association, with members from more than 90 countries worldwide.

Board of Directors

TODN is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of the following volunteers:

Melissa Hartley, President

Melissa brings significant experience in delivering talent development solutions. Melissa's reputation for excellent consulting, partnering and presentation skills have gained her the trust of associates and leaders to deliver results in developing their talent for the organizations current reality and for their future. 

She has a Masters in Leadership from Royal Roads University and is certified in many OD tools such as Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI), EQi 2.0, Belbin Team Roles, Conversational Intelligence, MBTI. Melissa is a Talent Consultant with an HR Services firm named Verity international in their Talent practice and is passionate about bringing innovative, leading practices to developing leaders and their teams.

Katrina DeAngelis, Membership Co-Director (until May 31st)

Katrina is an Employee Engagement and Corporate Culture Fanatic and she believes that a company’s success is directly related to the employee culture that it cultivates. Maximizing employee potential begins with highlighting the importance of personal wellness, increasing levels of engagement and promoting the overall happiness of employees.

Katrina has always had a natural ability to harmonize every situation and decided to develop this passion into a career. While studying at York University in Toronto, Canada Katrina deepened her understanding of motivation, organizational behaviour and the structure and functioning of organizations and their employees.

Katrina works as a Project Manager at StarlingBrook Leadership Consulting where she practices and advocates the importance of mindfulness, mindset, mental health and leadership. In her spare time you might find her traveling the globe or mixing essential oils for friends and family.

Leena Malik, Membership Co-Director

Leena acts as a discoverer, facilitator and mobilizer to help organizations increase effectiveness, achieve goals, build capacity, and creatively manage challenges and change. She partners with leaders to help align their human capital with desired results, bringing a unique ability to understand organizational needs, engage stakeholders, recommend meaningful solutions, and figure out what needs to be done. She also brings an integrated business perspective having held senior level positions focused on organizational development, learning, and human resources, as well as corporate communications and marketing.

Leena brings a lifelong passion for learning, personal and professional development, and loves to inspire others with her insights. She holds a Certified Training and Development Practitioner (CTDP) designation and an MBA. She also previously served a Board Director for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). 

Hilary Loudon, Program Director

Hilary is an inclusive leader with experience creating sustainable and inspired change in individuals, organizations and systems.  In her OD practice, she believes in re-humanizing organizations through powerful questions and co-created dialogue. She has consulted internationally for large multinational corporations across a range of industries including non-profit, technology, healthcare, environmental and hospitality. Hilary believes in imagining what is possible and creating environments where we can bring our full selves to work every day.

She holds a Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University.


Irma Avila, Communications Director

A Talent and Organizational Development specialist experienced in talent development & learning, change management, coaching and team building.

As an HR consultant Irma designed, launched and managed programs on employee training, performance evaluation, and change implementation. For more than 10 years she built and led global teams, establishing strategic partnerships and expanding business in new territories. Experience in sales and leadership roles established the foundation of business strategy and operations. Irma’s goal is to combine HR experience with business acumen and help organizations achieve a ripple effect - build highly engaging and performing cultures.

Irma holds a Master in Organisational Psychology and an MBA

Jami Monte, Finance Director (Until May 31st)

Jami is a self employed accountant working with small businesses in Toronto. Her interest in Organizational Development was sparked while working with a global holding company and experiencing the shifts in performance and culture following mergers and acquisitions.

She has a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Business from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Outside of work, Jami can be found practicing and teaching yoga.

Jane Vucevic, Marketing Director

Jane Vucevic, Master in Science and Organization Development, is a seasoned OD professional. She has driven strategic change initiatives for  organizations in Toronto as well as Asia Pacific, South America and Europe. Her knowledge and experiences encompasses a wide range of industries including Financial, IT, Manufacturing. Automotive, Gas and Healthcare. With her, most current accomplishment completing and publishing a research study involving Psychological safety on a change initiative. She holds a Master in Science and Organization Development from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. She is always open to a conversation and forging new connections. 


Kriti Singh, Technology Director

Kriti is a seasoned talent management and OD practitioner having worked in large and medium enterprises in Oil & Gas, Consulting and Financial Technology sectors. She has led people development projects from the perspective of behavioral psychology and sustaining change during the times of transformation. Her expertise is in Talent Development, Leadership assessment and change management. She holds an MBA from India and an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, New York.

Kriti is also a Peter Drucker Forum finalist for 2018 having won global accolades on her thoughts on “Keeping Humanity alive in the world of Artificial Intelligence”. She is a Subject Matter Expert for Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), USA. She is certified as Global Talent Management Leader by Talent Management Institute and also holds SPHR, SHRM-SCP certifications. She is also certified to administer Hogan and MBTI Assessments.

Aminata N'Doye, Board Member at Large, OD Partnerships

Aminata is seasoned OD practitioner who is passionate about organizational development. Her background includes organizational effectiveness, organization design, learning, performance management as well as change and project management. Working across a number of different sectors, she has led a number of interesting initiatives that advanced organizations. 

Volunteer-wise, she loves to give back. She has served on several boards, doing OD-type work that helped associations advance and evolve.

Jane Watson, Board Member at Large

Jane is Senior People Partner at Klick, an award-winning, innovative digital agency focused on the healthcare sector. She has spent 15 years in human resources and talent development roles in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. She is also the founder of the Aperta Project, an initiative aimed at helping the human resources profession to take a more systemic, evidence-based approach to preventing workplace sexual harassment.

Outside of work she is an active volunteer, writer, connector, and mentor.
